Established in 1993, French May is one of the largest cultural events in Asia. Yayoi Kusama : 1945 to Now 2023 (Hong Kong)

Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now is the largest retrospective of the artist in Asia outside Japan. Featuring more than 200 works, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, and archival material, this exhibition surveys Kusama’s career from the earliest drawings she made as a teenager during World War II to her most recent immersive art pieces. Organised chronologically and thematically, the retrospective guides visitors through Kusama’s career-long creative pouring divided into major themes: Infinity, Accumulation, Radical Connectivity, Biocosmic​, Death, and Force of Life.



This fall, explore one of the earliest, and largely unknown, encounters between Japan and the West in the 16th century, as seen through the eyes of artist Hiroshi Sugimoto.

A brief history of the RA

The RA was founded in 1768 by a group of 40 artists and architects who became the first Royal Academicians. The first president was Sir Joshua Reynolds, whose statue now stands outside Burlington House. Over the past 250 years, we’ve moved house several times, elected hundreds of new RAs and even survived the Blitz – all while continuing to stage an annual Summer Exhibition, elect new members and champion art and architecture in all its forms. All work meeting exhibit requirements will be accepted.

London Photography Diary is your online guide to London’s photography scene. It is a non-profit organisation and was set up in 2014 to provide easy access to all of London’s photography exhibitions and events by both established and emerging photographers. The Diary was conceived of and launched by Ashley Lumb, who acts as the Publisher, overseeing the delivery and development of all of the Diary websites (London, New York, and Berlin).

In honour of Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation, this is an art project that follows the road that ties the country together. The subject and inspiration for each painting will come from a stop along the highway every 150 km from Victoria, BC to St. John's, NL.

The Wyandotte Street Art Fair has developed as one of the nation's finest art fairs. 250 jury selected fine artists representing 30  states, and Canada, will display their works in special booths throughout Wyandotte's Central Business District for six blocks. GalleriesNow was started in 2014 by brothers Tristram and Patrick Fetherstonhaugh. The two of them grew up immersed in the art world and, realising that they nonetheless were missing exhibitions they wanted to see, they developed GalleriesNow.

GalleriesNow is the leading independent gallery guide for an engaged audience of collectors, curators, art professionals and art lovers.

In our American show, leading galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa show significant work from the masters of Modern and contemporary art, as well the new generation of emerging stars. Paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, films, and editioned works of the highest quality are on display in the main exhibition hall. Ambitious large‐scale artworks, films and performances become part of the city's outdoor landscape at nearby Collins Park and SoundScape Park.

MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) 

Boonchai Bencharongkul's five-story building is Thailand’s biggest private museum and the country's first significant permanent modern art collection open to the public. The works are mostly post-1990s, often focusing on realism and surrealism depicting rural life, religious Buddhist scenes or mythological motifs from the Ramayana, though a few more political and controversial pieces have made their way into the collection, too.




The Seattle Art Fair is a one-of-a-kind destination for the best in modern and contemporary art and a showcase for the vibrant arts community of the Pacific Northwest. Based in Seattle, a city as renowned for its natural beauty as its cultural landscape, the fair brings together the region’s strong collector base; local, national, and international galleries; area museums and institutions; and an array of innovative public programming. Founded in 2015 by Paul G. Allen, the Seattle Art Fair is produced by Vulcan Inc. and Art Market Productions.





The Istana lush grounds were open to the public on Sunday, 2 August to celebrate the National Day.

The centerpiece of the event was the iconic installation, Canopy of Dreams, made up of more than 1,000 umbrellas designed by children and youths nation-wide in celebration of Singapore.

FART BASEL 2017, the influence of Art fairs

Art fairs are getting shorter. Once, the norm was at least four days of public opening but this year, as for a couple of editions past, Art Basel Hong Kong weighs in at just three public days (March 23-35) — following, of course, a run-up of VIP openings and viewings. Most of the other important contemporary fairs around the world have also abandoned longer stretches.

Shanghai International Art Fair

The Shanghai International Art Fair is part of the Yangtze River Delta International Industries Expo (iCiE). Celebrating the development of the region’s cultural industries. Previously visited by 80,000 visitors the expo - building upon this success the YRDICIE expands the exhibition space to 54,000 sqm delivering a more international event generating a bigger impact at a bigger scale.

Harbour Art Fair, first launched in March 2017, is a new exciting hotel art fair at an unprecedented location the Kowloon Peninsula. It is now one of the favourite gathering spots for art collectors, curators and art lovers to procure the exquisite works from our exceptional artists. The Fair offers a wide variety of artworks including paintings, prints, photography and sculptures, also providing an array of ambitious public programmes including art talks, docent tours and exclusive experiences, as well as a series of Special Exhibitions, tailored for art lovers.
