Hong Kong International Cultural Summit 2024

The first-ever Hong Kong International Cultural Summit 2024, hosted by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, will be held on 24-26 March 2024 at the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). Yayoi Kusama, Japan’s most admired avant-garde artist, was born in 1929 in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. From a young age she began experiencing visual and auditory hallucinations, which later in her life she described as “flashes of light, auras, or dense fields of dots,” paving her way toward creating her signature net and polka-dot patterned paintings and designs.

London Photography Diary is your online guide to London’s photography scene. It is a non-profit organisation and was set up in 2014 to provide easy access to all of London’s photography exhibitions and events by both established and emerging photographers. The Diary was conceived of and launched by Ashley Lumb, who acts as the Publisher, overseeing the delivery and development of all of the Diary websites (London, New York, and Berlin).

Ken Domon Museum of Photography

Located in Yamagata’s Sakata, the Ken Domon Museum of Photography is dedicated solely to the realist photography of resident Ken Domon. Over 70,000 works have been donated by Domon himself.

Art Toronto is Canada’s Art Fair

Since 2000, we have been dedicated to supporting art in Canada, connecting audiences to local, national and international galleries, and promoting diverse creative practices. Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP) is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to the cultivation of the photographic arts and the enrichment of the Atlanta art community.

Yayoi Kusama : 1945 to Now 2023 (Hong Kong)

Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now is the largest retrospective of the artist in Asia outside Japan. Featuring more than 200 works, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, and archival material, this exhibition surveys Kusama’s career from the earliest drawings she made as a teenager during World War II to her most recent immersive art pieces. Organised chronologically and thematically, the retrospective guides visitors through Kusama’s career-long creative pouring divided into major themes: Infinity, Accumulation, Radical Connectivity, Biocosmic​, Death, and Force of Life.

A brief history of the RA

The RA was founded in 1768 by a group of 40 artists and architects who became the first Royal Academicians. The first president was Sir Joshua Reynolds, whose statue now stands outside Burlington House. Over the past 250 years, we’ve moved house several times, elected hundreds of new RAs and even survived the Blitz – all while continuing to stage an annual Summer Exhibition, elect new members and champion art and architecture in all its forms. MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) 

Boonchai Bencharongkul's five-story building is Thailand’s biggest private museum and the country's first significant permanent modern art collection open to the public. The works are mostly post-1990s, often focusing on realism and surrealism depicting rural life, religious Buddhist scenes or mythological motifs from the Ramayana, though a few more political and controversial pieces have made their way into the collection, too.


Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA)

Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) was founded in 2010, and since then has grown into a leading and influential platform for Photography and Arts in Asia. We participate vigorously in the movement of Photography in Asia through talent showcases, events and exhibitions, publishing, workshops and education, and community outreach.
